Obama Vs McCain on taxes

http://www.barackobama.com/issues/fiscal/ObamaPolicy_Fiscal.pdf

Obama's plan encludes
Ending Tax Haven Abuse:
Our big corporations are setting up offices in the Northern Marianas, which is an American trust, Qatar, Dubai and Kuwait to evade paying taxes. They've gotten away with ripping billions of dollars from the American economy and leaving the burden on the working class. KBR and Haliburton are most notable for this. They even get around our sanctions against Iran by working out of the Arab nations and ignoring our laws. Yet they get the no bid contracts that we pay for and don't pay any taxes. Every pittance they give to the government comes back to them in spades. We subsidize Bush's and Cheney's cronies with money we should be using right here.

Close Special Interest Corporate Loophole:
No more tax evasion for special interests. We have to pay all of our taxes, so should the corporations and multi nationals.

PAYGO:
If we don't have the money for it, we don't get it. No excuses, no exceptions. It's how Clinton got us into a surplus that Bush squandered in less than his first 2 years in office.

No-Bid Contracts:
No more corporate cronyism. If you have the best bid, you get the contract. Get the bribery out of washington. Just because you donated big doesn't mean you should be able abuse the system by getting no bid contracts even if your cost is 10 times higher than someone else's. The only time no bid contracts should even be considered is when there is no time for taking bids, like after a natural disaster.

Provide a Tax Cut for Working Families:
This tax cut will eliminate taxes on 10 million families and give a reduction of $500 per person or $1000 per family tax credit for families making $50,000 or less. It will also provide relief for small business owners.

Eliminate Income Taxes for Seniors Making Less than $50,000:
That is an average tax cut of $1400 per senior.

Those are actually pretty good sites. It's all in writing on his web pages so we are going to hold him to it. His supporters are not blinded sheep. When he messes up we tell him, "we are the one's we've been waiting for" and you said you were going to work for us. What a novel idea to have a president who works for all of us instead of just for the oil and military industrial complex.

"...the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center concluded that... “Senator Obama offers much larger tax breaks to low- and middle-income taxpayers and would increase taxes on high-income taxpayers.”
Just the opposite of McCain's plan.
Obama's plan will not raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000 a year that means 2% of the population will have their taxes raised. It's all in that article and at the Tax Policy Center website.
http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/

According to this Tax group Obama's plan will reduce taxes on:
"those earning $37,595 to $66,354, would see taxes cut by $1,042 a year."

McCains plan would give that same group a $319 break. The bulk of his tax cuts would go to those making $2.8 million or more per year.
