Military is not the only diplomacy we have Mr.s McCain and Bush

I agree with Mr. Gravel that the U.S. military-industrial complex runs our foreign policy--to the detriment of our international standing as a peaceloving, godfearing nation.  Both adjectives have been bastardized by the Bush administration to the point of incredulity.

There is no such thing as wars of God, there are only wars of men.  Greedy, selfish leaders and corporate heads who want control of the world and be monetarily enriched by them, as interpreted by the U.S. under George W. Bush, who has re-classified nuclear weaponry as 'usable.'  Not immoral, not impossible, but usable.  This attitude, coupled with the pre-emptive aggression he has shown an affinity for, and the executive power he has granted himself and his VP via the unitary executive, is a dangerous anomaly not hampered by constraints of law or decency, be they domestic or international.

The first diplomatic thought in his mind is to deploy the military.

Jim Pankey, USN (Ret.)
